Job Duties
- Provide hands-on training and guidance for new dining room servers in accordance with Senior Star's training plans
- model and uphold dining service standards, customer service excellence, and teamwork expectations
- foster a warm and inclusive environment that helps new associates feel welcomed, confident, and valued
- observe and assess the progress of new associates
- share timely, constructive feedback with supervisors
- coach and encourage new team members through challenges and celebrate milestones and growth
- promote Senior Star's culture, mission, and values
- remain available for support and questions beyond the formal training period
- assist with resolving training obstacles
- demonstrate flexibility in scheduling
- adapt positively to workflow or team changes
- maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
- prepare the dining room for meal service
- deliver meal service with attention to detail
- clean and reset the dining room after meals
- communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members
- uphold professionalism and safety standards in all interactions
