Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
  • cleans kitchen and stores or discards excess food in accordance with safety procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and stores items per standards
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • reports maintenance issues or accidents to the supervisor
  • attends safety meetings and maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • ensures proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
  • demonstrates personal commitment to safety
  • abides by company policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
